A Level (Level 3)

Deepen your appreciation for the English language by investigating the social factors which have shaped it both today and in the past. 

On this course, you will study a variety of texts and learn how social class, gender, ethnicity, and regional differences have all influenced language. You will also develop your own writing skills, and investigate an element of language variation, such as how children acquire their language.
